Refund policy

If for any reason you seek a refund of your donation, please contact us at enquiries@africanaidsfoundation.org.au within 14 days of making the donation. Alternatively, you can send a written refund request to:

A refund will be provided within 30 days of receiving your request. Please note, if a refund request is received more than 14 days after AAF receives your donation, no refund is available.

AAF does not sell goods or services requiring delivery.

Your privacy is important to us

AAF is committed to upholding the National Privacy Principles contained in Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth).

  1. AAF only collects and retains personal information including your name, residential address, telephone number, credit card details and email address that is necessary for its primary purpose of fundraising. This information is used to record your donation and for the sending of regular newsletters and other information about the activities of AAF.
  2. AAF will not use or disclose personal information about you for any reason other than its primary purpose.
  3. AAF takes reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information it collects is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
  4. AAF takes reasonable steps to protect the personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
  5. If AAF holds personal information about an individual, it will provide the individual with access to the information on request by the individual.
  6. Where it is lawful and practicable, AAF acknowledges that individuals have the right if requested, not to be identified when entering transactions with an organisation.
  7. AAF does not collect sensitive information about an individual.
  8. To assist in marketing and ongoing fund raising to further the aims of African AIDS Foundation, some basic information relating to our contacts (name, address, and telephone numbers) may be provided to third parties. Any such information will be provided to third parties on a confidential basis and to be used solely for this purpose.
