What We Do

AAF is focused primarily on the well-being of children and creating opportunities for them to have a better future. Achieving positive long-term outcomes for children however, inevitably includes helping to build stronger families and safer, caring community environments.

AAF is committed to funding several development projects in South Africa and Kenya through our African Partners. One of the ways in which we support the organisations and individuals running these projects is by sending volunteers from Australia to assist in many areas. All of this is made possible only through our many supporters, including yourself. It is through the supporters of AAF that we are able to raise the much needed funds required for these projects.

A new area that AAF is establishing is that of School Partnerships. These important partnerships between African schools and Australian schools will offer all students and staff the opportunity to learn about one another's cultures, environments, backgrounds and life experiences. AAF hopes to see these partnerships create understanding, tolerance and appreciation and to develop a keen interest from students in social justice issues.
